My name is Tori Pedro
I'm a family and pet portrait photographer specializing in making ordinary moments frame-worthy.
I'm a mother of three lovely and crazy little boys.
I've captured weddings, engagements (hello crouching behind a tree waiting to capture the proposal moment), professional headshots, family gatherings, maternity moments, tiny newborn toes, and toddlers running around in pull ups.

I HAVE A DEEP, DEEP LOVE OF PRESERVING FAMILY HISTORY
I spent the final weeks of my first pregnancy transferring my entire family's home video collection on VHS over to digital formats, I have saved way too many ticket stubs and greeting cards, and I have given up a week (or two…) of my life to research my family genealogy.
I can assure you that I will take my job as your photographer very seriously, and my aim is to give you a very special keepsake for many years to come.

WHY CHOOSE TORI TO CAPTURE YOUR PHOTOS?
I have stickers.
But really. I'm the photographer with the stickers, the glow sticks, the stuffed animal on the camera, the weird noises (the ones that work for your dog, too...). I think it helps that I was the shy kid growing up. So no, I won't force them out from hiding behind your legs. But I'll have all the encouragement ready for when (not if!) they are ready to be brave and giggle for the camera!

I take my work seriously. I am on time, I am highly communicative, and I care that you have all of the information you need and want.
I ENJOY A CHALLENGE.
Bring me your crying baby, your toddler who has collapsed on the ground, or your sassy seven year old. I'll either turn their mood around, or give you photos that creatively capture them without you feeling like it was a waste of time.
I REALLY CARE.
I want you to get a frame-worthy moment out of your session, and I'll do everything in my power to make sure that happens. I'll let you know if your hair is out of place, if you left your cell phone in your pocket, and help you pose comfortably.
I PREFER REALNESS.
My photos are typically taken in natural environments; either outside, or in your real home. Conversation, silliness, and raw experiences are more likely to be found at my sessions than formal and posed moments.
